Javier Gomez, a former student turned teacher at Inlakech Cultural Arts Center, has been involved with the center since he was four. He helps children from agricultural families connect with their heritage, language, and history, inspiring joy in parents and empowering children to become future community leaders. This initiative aligns with Lucha's mission to establish grassroots projects that address youth issues, education, racism, and discrimination while strengthening families and promoting Chicano and Ethnic Studies. By fostering a sense of identity and belonging, Javier's work contributes to Lucha's broader goals of advancing human rights, equity, and environmental sustainability.
